Whatever your interest, you’ll find social events and activities at HYC to fit your lifestyle:

Casual: Happy hour on Fridays, Super Bowl Watch Party, special parties for St. Patrick’s Day, Kentucky Derby Day Party, Trivia Nights, and more. 

Family: Easter Egg Hunt, Boo Boating at Halloween, Christmas Open House with Santa, Thanksgiving Buffet, Cardboard Boat Race, Mother's Day Brunch, and Father's Day Cookouts.

Fresh Air: Games, races, and fireworks on July 4 weekend; pool parties and cook-offs throughout the year; lobster and shrimp boils on the dock.

Formal: Commodore’s Ball, Ladies Association Cocktail Party, New Year's Eve, and Valentine’s Dinner.

Opening Day Weekend: One of the biggest parties of the year, with a boat christening, boat parade, Sunday brunch, the Opening Day Ceremony, and a champagne reception.

The Entertainment Committee, Ladies Association, Women’s Sailing Association, Yachting Committee, Race and Regatta Committee, and the Youth Activities Program all sponsor social events. To discover their offerings, click on the name of the respective group.
