• After School and Weekend Spring Sailing started March 4. See above for calendar and details.
• The TSA 2010 Season is in full force. Check out the Texas Sailing Association website for schedule and results for the year.

• A big congratulations to Richard Schuurmans who qualified for the Optimist Worlds by finishing 3rd in a field of 185 at Team Trials held April 29 through May 2. Richard will travel to Malaysia in December to compete in Worlds. He will also receive an invitation to North Americans which will be held in Canada this summer. Mason Mings and Haddon Hughes will also receive an invitation to North Americans. To see more Team Trials results go to U.S. Optimist Dinghy Association.
• Reed Baldridge and Leonie Schuurmans have been selected to compete in the Laser Radial Worlds to be held in Scotland this summer.
• Kayla Gibson was named the National Grand Prix winner in the 4.7 Fleet for 2009.
