As of Sunday, 22 boats remained on the lawn and
parking lot. Most of the debris strewn across the lawn and parking lot
has been cleaned up. Much grass is visible and looks healthy. The lawn
and main parking lot should be clear by this weekend.
Sails and parts for Optis, Lasers and Sunfish have been sorted out and
can be found under the pavilion. Dinghies that ended up on the lawn
have been staged in two places: along the fence line in the south dry
storage area and the V15 storage area west of the clubhouse.
New drywall is appearing on the first floor of the clubhouse.
The Path Forward Committee met Friday evening and presented a summary
of general recommendations and harbor recommendations to the Board of
Trustees Saturday morning, all preliminary, of course.
We are awakening from a terrible nightmare, which we hope will soon
fade into a pale memory.
Vice Commodore Mike
Bordelon
