On the Water
WSA sponsors Women's Weekend Regatta, which includes one day of racing with a woman at the helm and a mixed crew, and the next day only women are allowed on the boats.

WSA organizes the Windward Bound Sailing Camp for Women, which is a four-day camp (housing at HYC) where you learn, expand and enhance your sailing skills and make friendships with fellow sailors. Windward Bound Camp is now in its 29th consecutive year and has developed scores of confident women sailors.


WSA owns four Sunfish that are available for charter, and we have Sunfish Days with some coaching, maybe some racing and then a get-together in the bar afterward.

There are also WSA Fun Days where members who are more experienced sailors teach our new sailors big-boat sailing. WSA also provides a scholarship program for girls and women participating in sailing events.
