2016 Summer Program
This summer we are all about FUN! Our summer program goal is to have every sailor who steps through our doors to gain a love for sailing. Whether they want to have fun on their parent’s boat or race competitively, we have a program for everyone! Through our programs, sailors will learn a sense of leadership, commitment, sportsmanship and passion for the water and sailing. We understand that every sailor learns best in a positive environment and strive to have every sailor leave with a positive memory of camp and sailing. Some of our main programs are:
2016 Overnight Camp
Juniors: June 5th-10th
Seniors: June 5th- 10th
Our summer program begins with a long standing Texas tradition of overnight camp. This is a week-long camp catering to juniors and seniors that will have sailors on the water in Optimists, Lasers, Flying Scotts and Club 420s during the day and participating in fun activities at night such as a talent show, crafting, trips and a movie night. We have two groups: Junior camp and Senior camp. Junior Camp is for sailors 9 and older; they will be sailing Optimists with a chance to sail on some bigger boats throughout the week. Senior camp is for sailors 13 and older; they will be sailing Lasers, Flying Scotts and Club 420s. Don’t worry if your sailor has no sailing experience, instruction will be provided through our summer coaches during the day. The sailors stay in the clubhouse with parents supervising.
